Marta Hanson is an Associate Professor of the history of East Asian medicine in the Department of the History of Medicine. Her research interests include the history of medicine, disease, and public health in China and the cultural history of Chinese arts of memory. She is currently the President of the International Society of the History of East Asian Science, Technology, and Medicine.
